The services and room condition of Cathay is pathetic. I was told that the rooms are renovated. But renovation is an under statement. The aircon was from the 19th century and dnt cool at all. The room smelled musty and the bathroom was covered in dirt! A very cheesy place. DON'T GO THERE!

We stayed at Cathay hotel after a mess up with the guest list at Lautoka Hotel. Great satff ( very friendly indeed). Room was good and the facilities were alright for the price we paid. Hotel in town and a supermarket was very close by with buses running regularly. Spacious rooms. Liked it :)

checked in at about 1600hrs, room was clean, love the bedspead...otherwise it was just disappointing, not so friendly stuff....no towels, no toilet tissue,no soap,no iron...thank God it was a sleep over for the next day flight....
