This Presbyterian Church Retreat and Education Center where Georgia O'Keeffe had her summer house in the landscape she made famous in her paintings was the perfect spot for me to recharge my soul and energy. I met fascinating people here, fellow searchers, over the 2 nights I stayed in a little casita all to myself, as there were no big... More

I attended an artists' workshop here. One day, while painting in the meeting room we were given to use as a studio, I heard a man very nastily yelling at a woman who was crying. The man thought we were all out painting en plein air. When he came out of his office, I saw he was the manager -... More

I stayed here for a couple weeks while working. The scenery is very nice but you should be aware that this is definitely more of a roughing-it/summer camp location. I didn't see any rooms like the pictures posted. My room was basically a large plywood box with 2 bunk beds in it and a plywood shelf meant to be a... More

This was my third year staying at Ghost Ranch for a workshop. Agreed, the rooms are rustic and there are no keys. Up on the mesa, the views are beautiful and the light is spectacular. I understand why people go there to paint. One thing to note is that Ghost Ranch seems to double book rooms lately. People in our... More

These accommodations are *not* for those wanting the service one gets at a four star facility. But if you can deal with the confines of what they offer (see below) then the location is simply incredible! We stayed in a room in the Sagebrush building. From the chairs just outside we were able to sit and watch the sun move... More

I spent one night in a suite in the Tumbleweed Building on the Mesa level with 3 other travelers. The bedroom had a double and a single bed and the living area had 2 single sofa sleepers. That room choice was cheaper than renting 2 rooms. There was a lock on the door preventing anyone from entering when the room... More

I stayed here for two nights and loved it! This is not the Four Seasons, nor does it pretend to be. But I was looking for peace, quiet, stars, and simplicity. The food was just ok, some meals better than others-but all I had to do was eat it! The staff was all kind, hospitable and helpful. The grounds were... More

What a beautiful area of New Mexico. We wanted to stay at Ghost Ranch because of Georgia O'Keefe's history there. It really offered very little connection to her which was very disappointing. We arrived after 6:30pm on a Sunday night to find no staff on duty and had to call their "emergency line." We were told to look through office... More

I visited this facility on an Alternative Break and really enjoyed it! The food was really good, the grounds were beautiful and the gift shop was great. The people were very friendly and the accommodations were pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone. Families, couples, outdoor lovers, people who need to retreat to nature. This is a great place to... More

I traveled with a group of people this past month to the Ghost Ranch, and have to say if you enjoy the wilderness this is for you. We were placed up on top of the hill, and some of our travelers (incl. myself couldn't make the climb up due to terrain). We rented a golf cart for $ 35 and... More
