While in Tahiti, my husband and I had the chance to stay at the Intercontinental as well as Pension de la Plage. Both were great experiences, but La Plage felt more like real traveling. The rooms were modest and the pool was small, but none of that matters when you are literally across the street from a beautiful beach.
