Gir Jungle Lodge has a mango orchard with the odd chickoo tree thrown in, making the place really charming. We found our rooms clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and solicitous, particularly the kitchen staff. I visited Gujrat in the Christmas vacations of 2012.Though Gir forest Area has nothing much to offer apart from the Reserve. However the hotel made my trip a worth. We had a lovely stay there for one night. We got upgraded to the tents. The tents were luxurious, spacious and brand new. The bathrooms were big and spacious and very clean. “Wonderful experience of staying at Gir Jungle Resort”
