It was a pleasant stay at the York when I visited here during the last week of February 2013. It is located very near to the famous Dal lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. The hospitality was very good. The food served as buffet was fantastic. Altogether it was a great experience. Will love to come over here again with my family.

Its a Basic Hotel will with Wood finish all over the Room and has heater in the BED which makes us warm.. Though its back side of the DAL LAKE you will find this as one narrow lane to make it to the hotel. This hotel is very normal and basic like otherone's with this budget.

Hotel is well located. Close to dal lake but a little inside from the main road so noise from the road wouldn't reach the rooms. It is nice budget hotel. However hotel is old but maintained. Every location is easily accessible from here. Service is good. Rooms are of ok size as compared to room in Kashmir. We went to this hotel after staying one night in another disater hotel in Srinagar. But we got prompt booking without any advance.
