This was one of the highlights of our visit to Kerala. We were made very welcome on arrival and soon felt relaxed and at home. The guided tour of the farm was most interesting and we enjoyed the evening boat trip. The food was excellent and dinner was very special with Philip's accomplished piano playing. In short we would like... More

This was our first visit to India in April 2013 and without exception all our accommodation was outstanding and Kerela was amazing. The farm Philipkutty is a whole new experience. First you arrive by small punt boat as the farm is on the island, the boatman sees you and you and your luggage are gently glided across the water. A... More

This review is late in the making and I apologize for the delay! To start, I highly respect Mrs. Anu and her family. The story of Philipkutty's Farm is astounding - and ongoing! Each of them, including the staff, are all fabulous, hardworking people who love to extend their hospitality. I stayed for two nights and I loved every moment... More

It was a day of total relaxation indeed for all. This place is a place of hospitality with... More

We stayed at the farm for five days at the end of March at the conclusion of our month long tour of India. the farm was a perfect way to unwind and reflect on incredible India. Anu and Mummy were warm and gracious hosts who made our stay special in so many ways. This included several cooking demonstrations and special... More

We stayed for one night after a night on a houseboat. We arrived a little early but were greeted with a very refreshing cup of tea. Our villa was spacious and absolutely spotless; the shower-room was nicely appointed with lots of space and plenty of towels. Food was fantastic and plentiful. Highly recommended home-stay.

Where do I begin? This place was simply a delight. The farm itself is not accessible by road directly, so you need to take a (very short) boat trip out to the island. The farm is beautiful and serene. Anu is a fantastic host (and cook). Anni, Philip and Anya are wonderful and hospitable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.... More

We arrived at this island directly from a houseboat in which we hads spent the previous, blissful night. We were met by Mummy and Annu and welcomed into their own home with a cooling drink after which we were shown to our "cottage" at the water's edge. An immaculate living room and en suite shower room was to be our... More

This must be the easiest reviews I have ever done, as it's one of the most delightful places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at ....Utopia comes to mind .We didn't want to leave . The only way to reach this place is by boat, as it's situated on an island. The day we visted we were two... More

We didn't stay here but just went for lunch and a wander around the farm. The family was very welcoming and the food was DELICIOUS. We sat at the family dining table and had our mean with the hosts. It really felt like we were visiting some distant relatives or family friends.
