It's prettier than the website, pictures don't begin to describe the green, lush, natural beauty. We went on a spice plantation tour and returned to recognize the spices out our front door. If you only can go to one place in India, I would say come here!! Be prepared to walk up lots of stairs.

Shalimar spice garden is, as advertised, a "hideaway". Not in the bustling touristy streets, but up a winding hill, in an estate.
