The rooms are very basic and clean. It's probably good value but there are a lot of other home stays near by, which looked very nice. The guy who runs it is not very service minded; it seems like he is more busy doing other things than running a home stay.

We had a lovely stay here. It's only a few minutes walk into town, but is located in a quiet street. You can sit on your balcony, looking at the palm trees and listening to the birds - and are quite likely to see monkeys. The staff are able to organise trips to spice gardens and tea plantations.

It's a lovely place to stay in Kumily, close to the town center, they have a very good service for transfer to bus station and National Park, they also can make you a good breakfast in the morning. A homestay where you're at yours and at the same time welcomed by the family. Rooms and bathrooms are rather well, and they do their best to make you a perfect stay in Kumilly. It is the place which I more want to promote in the trip in Kerala we made.

Enjoyed 2 nights here - comfortable,quiet, friendly hosts. Watch the thousands of fruit bats flying overhead at dusk - extra bonus. Dining room gloomy which rather lets it down. Breakfast adequate unless you are gluten-free. Easy walk into town for good and cheap food. Would stay here again.
