“Live like a Maharaja”

We thoroughly loved this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite and felt truly like royalty. The suite was beautifully decorated and palatial in size. The palace is worth wandering around and exploring the different rooms. The gardens are lovely with a garden restaurant. We had a lovely meal here.

“Wonderful Garden, dated rooms”

The reception is quit bleak and the rooms large but dated. Almost all the rooms are facing a large green area, too large to be considered a courtyard. “Charming!!”

It is indeed an old palace - rooms are spacious, we had ones with large balconies overlooking a lovely courtyard with restaurant and pool. There was evening entertainment, food is excellent, wine list is short but good. It is fairly close to downtown and the airport, which makes it easy to travel.

“cool to stay in an old palace!”

This property used to be an old Maharaja's property, apparently. It's gorgeous in an old heritage way. I had room 304 which is up three flights of marble stairs (Thank goodness a porter carried my luggage), down a hall, and down another flight of stairs. The house is in a former palace (Heritage) located on the outskirts of Jodhpur. It has about 80 rooms. Small, cozy lobby. Exchange office, small market line. The entire system has seen better times. This applies to all physical facilities of the hotel. Located on the outskirts of Jodhpur (Blue City). Around construction activities.
