This is a new hotel, built to resemble a palace. Most of the hotels are outside the entrance to the park, all in a row, but with enough surrounding land to make it feel you are alone in the area. Stay was all inclusive, which is best as too far out of town to commute easily. Food was good including... More

Surrounded by hills the Nahargarh Ranthambore is built to resemble a royal palace with a beautiful Mughal-style garden and a large outdoor pool. Each spacious room is finished with tiled flooring, traditional Indian furnishings and air-conditioning. Bathrooms are roomy with modern fittings and quality toiletries. Laundry service is available. Around the courtyard there is a currency exchange, restaurant, library, gift... More

When deciding where to stay in ranthombore, we stumbled upon this hotel as an option on the net. Though it had mixed reviews, we went ahead with it... though it was season time the occupancy was low... but the place( beautiful, elegant and huge fort kind of building)and the people at nahargarh more than made up for it... The place tucks... More

We were staying at Nahargarh for just one night in March 2013 and I was again overwhelmed by its authentic atmosphere and its royal appeal. The rooms are just perfectly designed and not excessively luxurious so that you get the true Rajasthani feeling - which includes the entire hotel. The gardens and courtyards are just beautiful and the pool invites... More

This hotel is amazing. On arrival we were given a room upgrade. We had a four poster bed and a fabulous balcony overlooking the National Park with fabulous sunset views. We thought the hotel missed a few tricks. For example, they left tea/coffee in the court yard so guests could help themselves. We felt it would have been better if... More

Ranthambore - diametrically opposite to its name is not a boring place at all. Go there if you are game for game and are fond of shooting, albeit with the camera. It is about 450 kms odd km from Gurgaon (via Alwar). The road is pretty good and if one was to leave at 5 am you would reach by... More

We had high hopes this would be THE BEST hotel of our India tour. The property itself is fantastic, everything about it, and the musician playing in the courtyard adds to the charm. The staff were great too. The rooms very spacious. It was overshadowed by the restaurant. Its rarely open in time as per schedules, when it does open... More

We arrived mid evening after a long drive and were not greeted, more processed by a very unfriendly receptionist. Having deposited luggage in our room, went for a drink before dinner. We were then called out of the bar for dinner because we were the last and they wanted to close. Back in the bar they also made it clear... More

We were very pleasantly surprised when our tour bus from Overseas Adventure Travel pulled up to this hotel for our two night stay March 11 and 12, 2013. We were on the third floor and had a huge room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. There was an Indian movie or TV series being filmed here shortly after we arrived... More

Amazing property, tranquil, excellent base for safari trips into Ranthambore National Park. We stayed here for 3 nights and completed 2 safaris (sadly no tigers!). Closest hotel to the park. Hotel offers a travel agents service to arrange your safari tickets so you don't have to check in for the safari so early...knocks an hour off the time...well worth 200... More
