We stayed in the hotel from 01st Jan 2012 to 03rd Jan 2012. Rooms are big, well maintained with nice furnishings. Each room has two toilets, which is an ideal thing when you have to rush early in the morning to visit the National Park. The food is excellent. The owner family lives in the premises and looked after each... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Dev Vilas and we enjoyed our experience. The room and the bathroom are spacious, very simply furbished, very clean. The service is very good, also thanks to the presence of the very friendly hotel owner. The staff is incredibly friendly. The hotel is the closest to the park entrance (2 minutes by car) so... More

We stayed here in November 2011 as part of our tour package with Tour My India. Nice clean grounds and the room itself was very large with two bathrooms. A few minor quibbles - switchplates, door knobs and around these surfaces could use a wipe now and then - I'm sure with the nature of the clientel (post safari, covered... More

I visited this hotel with my family in October this year and stayed in their tented cottages. The tent was state of the art, with huge and comfy beds, the washrooms were roomy and well stocked with toiletries...here the bathrooms do not have doors but have strategically put in walls which could be a little embarrassing if you're staying with... We were three families & we drove from Delhi in separate vehicles. The roads are very good. Drive took us close to 7 hours. We missed evening safari by 15 minutes. The Hotel is well located & Built Nicely. We stayed in tent cottage which had open attached washroom. I was not very impressed with food. I would have loved... More

We stayed here for 2 nights - large rooms/bathrooms with very comfortable beds and showers. All meals are included in the room price - which makes a lot of sense as this is safari country and it is best to eat at hotel (unless you are interested in roadside fare). Food was great - with a lot of variety for... More

Our travel agent booked us into Dev Vilas and only a package deal including all meals was possible. Two nights with breakfast lunch and dinner in this hotel were a total downer. The hotel itself is shabby but clean enough. The staff uniforms have a very post-colonial / military flavour - not the vibe you want to have on holiday!... More

Spent one night at Dev Vilas and it was one night too many. Food was very poor, chefs uniform was filthy. Room was not very clean. Air conditioning was noisy and ineffecticve. Bird mess over the stairs, no shade at the swimming pool. Staff dressed up in military type uniforms did not seem at ease with the guests. Location good... More
