Absolutely fabulous location, not too far from town nor in the middle of the housing jungle coonoor has become. Mind blowing . Rooms are excellent and furnished tastefully. Attached restaurant is amongst the best in Coonoor Can spend your whole day just lounging in the lawn. Old heritage property.. People who own this have been around since 1800's.

This is a 132-year old Heritage property that is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and have a fireplace (at least our room did). The decor is minimal yet tasteful. The Staff are quite helpful. The Views over the valley are magnificent.

Everything about this place is wonderful - the location, staff, rooms, food - everything. I highly recommend the McIver, which is in a very peaceful location with amazing views over the town. The old colonial house is quite charming and you can easily walk to Sim's Park from there.
