Hotel Tamil Nadu was good for a night stay, lacks a good restaurant though. you have to walk or take an auto towards the temple for a good meal.The location is good as it is near the station and bus stand .

Experince is very good...rooms are neat, clean...staff is also good....they are also very cooperative...I suggest this hotel as it is in cnter of madurai city and very near to meenaxi temple.... Though there are so many Star hotels in Madurai, this is located at the centre of the city, nearer to both the bus stand and the railway stations. Good rooms, better hospitality, readily available suggestios etc make one to prefer this budget hotwel of the State Government

TTDC 1, Madurai is located next Periyar bus stand and 5 mins from Madurai Railway station and Meenakshi temple. Because of its location it is convenient to halt here for a brief period. we were there for pilgrimage and you don"t look for luxuries at time like this . having said that , be sure , you will get every thing else that you need without paying through your nose . highly recommended
