Fantastic location for mall lovers, its a minute walk away from the Picture palace side and most eateries. Its on the camel back road so one can enjoy quiet walks away from the hustle bustle. Rooms are small and damp. Bathrums are a disappointement. Excellent for tight udget travelers. Safe for single travelers.
We got the name out of Lonely Planet, arrived after dark and were grateful just to finally arrive. It was freezing so we paid extra for a heater. If you're on the budget, this is excellent choice. Building is rustic with colonial atmosphere, staff is nice, rooms basic though clean, some with beautiful views. Due to its "heritage" feeling it can be even more entertaining stay than in more expensive but modern hotel.
This place is charming in the same way a rustic cottage is charming, lovely people, room with a bed and a cold shower. Noisy monkeys in the morning but a nice breakfast. Its really basic, but clean and simple and if you are on a budget would do you fine.
Stayed for 4 nights at end of march, great location as some rooms have great views, on a quiet corner of the town but still only a couple of minutes walk from main street. Rooms are fine, good value for the price but a little dated but great place to stay for backpackers
