Very friendly and top notch service staffs, beautiful settings. Stayed in the villa with pool, but since we are bringing our 4 mths old baby girl along, couldnt make much use of it. And did i mention that the villa faces the open valley? Extraordinary view. Since we are carrying an infant along, the only complaint is too much steps... more

Ubud is the cultural center of Bali, the dance and music is the most authentic and the best you will see in Bali. This hotel has been a great stay. The grounds and the Villas are spectacular. The service was good, they tried very hard to please. On thing the drivers varied from OK to crook, and was offered a... more

The Pita Maha is an amazing hotel and I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere nice to stay in Ubud. The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive, the breakfasts are to die for and the restaurant has a beautiful outlook of the ridge. The communal pool is gorgeous but the private pools are even better. The location is... more

We are a family from China, with 2 kids, one grown-up boy and a 2 year-old girl. Before checking in at Pita Maha, We stayed in Nusa Dua for 3 nights, simply because it is closor to Denpasa Airport, and offers an easier adaptation to Bali climate, and with no risks of bad surprises. However Nusa Dua is no comparison... more

I stayed in the Pita Maha five years ago already with a friend and remembered the place as very cosy, relaxed and beautiful. That is exactly what I experienced this time when I went there with my fiancée. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The Villas are already a little bit „outdated“ but still exciting beautiful. Most of them... more

This review is way overdue but I doubt the hotel changed much. My husband and I stayed here last May. The view when you enter the lobby is absolutely breathtaking. The lobby itself opens up to a view of rice paddies...I felt like I left earth and went to paradise. The decor is traditional SE Asian which perfectly suited us.... more

Not a large place (23 villas), not much facilities or bells and whistles. Not a super luxurious place. But that's not what I was seeking. I wanted a relaxing, comfortable, quiet stay in elegant surroundings and that's what I got. I felt the price was fair and was satisfied. The cheapest villas have only partial views of the scenic valley... more

My wife and I travelled to Bali to celebrate her fiftieth birthday. We stayed for four nights at the Pita Maha before moving on to Seminyak. I can say that after the four days we did not want to leave. We had a pool villa overlooking the river valley and rice paddies across the valley. It was a beautiful spot.... more
