While on a road trip for Thanksgiving, our last stay was at Holiday Inn Express in Artesia, NM. We had recently stayed at a couple of other Holiday Inn Express hotels, which had all been very nice picks. Unfortunately we were very disappointed and surprised with this hotel. Though clean, this hotel was dark, dingy, very modest and outdated and... More

Where do you get the class of a 5 star hotel for motel prices? My stay at the Artesia New Mexico Holiday Inn Express continues to be excellent! This hotel offers not only professionalism and cleanliness, but also attention to detail rarely seen by most travelers. Ida and her staff are serious about customer care! Give them a try! Marshall... The staff at the Holiday Inn Express went out of their way to make my colleagues and i very confortable. From the general manager herself (Ida Fierro) on down to the asst. mgr Juhree Smith who made the local Golf course available to me. We were not on schedule with the Hotel's Breakfast time but hostess Erica Murillo always made... More

The hotel in general and the room in particular had a musty motel like odor which I wouldn't usually associate with Holiday Inn, as someone else noted. The staff is not very good; I don't want to make a blanket statement, but there never seemed to be anyone at the front desk--like a motel. It was a big hassle for them... More

The location is on the West side of town away from noisy and industrial odors. Lobby and breakfast room hav elarge flat screen TVs. Workout room, Laundry room. Very clean fenced outdoor pool with plenty of poolside furniture and a view for great sunsets. Breakfast varies, eggs, sausage and bacon with cereals, yogurts, muffins, toasts and fresh fruit. Coffees, juices... More

I and three other colleagues were working in Artesia off and on for the month of June and July. Ida Fierro, Juree, David and the rest of the staff were very accomodating to our office and personal needs...from helping out with fax and weather updates (during Tropical storm Alex) to booking stays at other Holiday Inn properties as we came... I had a wonderful experience at my most recient stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Artesia, NM. The room was large along with a comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel was located by resteraunts and many other amenities. I like the BBQ pit by the pool the best. More

quick check in pretty quiet 2 blocks away from the Super wal-mart. This also a very small town so there is not much to do. The free breakfast is good but lacking potatoes of some type. There are very few eating places in this town too. everything else is good. The rate that i was charged should been cheaper to... More

I stay at this hotel a few days out of every month while on business. The front desk is great and they are very helpful. They also serve fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. The hotel is expensive for what you get. The gas industry is booming in Artesia, so hotel rooms are limited and they can/do charge a premium.... More
