We spent 2 nights in a spacious top end Iris Suite wood cabin with unobstructed views to the fish farms in the valley and then on to Mount Gilboa - actually more of a hill. Enjoy the swinging hammock/chair on the balcony or lie on the grass. It's a dream break.

This is the first time I've stayed in the log cabin style cottages since they opened up the new dining room on site. WOW!! What a fabulous experience to be on a working kibbutz and be able to stay in the lap of luxury. The attitude of the staff was beyond expectations and the cleanliness and attractiveness was beyond belief.... More

My recent stay was the third time at this "get-away" Kibbutz near Mt. Gilboa. This year I had a ver nice surprise as all the rooms at the lodging buildings (NOT the Iris Cabins) were renovated just two weeks before my arrival. Nicely decorated, and upgrades to the decor, clothes cabinet and a new 42" flat-screen television w/adjustable positions. The... More

We stayed at the country lodging for 2 nights over the weekend and had a great time. Dorit checked us in even though we arrived just after 11am - she was very polite and smiley, and was very helpful and patient in explaining what's in the kibbutz, and the area. The country lodging is great - it has a balcony... More

We opted for a log cabin in the guest accommodation part of this working kibbutz. After a short drive from Haifa, we arrived early at reception to a very warm welcome! We had intended to just leave our bags for safekeeping while we explored the area, but they gave us the key to our cabin (this was before 11 am)... More

We were in Israel for 2 weeks and this was my favorite place. We stayed in the IRIS suites which was absolutely fabulous. You can park your car right outside your cabin which has the ammenities of a modern condo, but inside a lofty cabin. Breakfast was brought to our room in the mornings, and we ate on our back... More

First, the staff here was very friendly and helpful, and recommended a great nearby restaurant (nearby being relative, out in the country). The view from atop the hill, where the guesthouses are, is beautiful. And breakfast in the dining hall had extensive selections. We stayed in the lowest price room, which, from reading the reviews, is nothing like the higher... More

This kibbutz complex is a reasonable drive from many of the popular northern attractions and sites. The views are of the valley and Mount Gilboa are wonderful. Our mini-chalet was equipped with air conditioning, a kitchenette, a large bathroom including a whirlpool tub and a private balcony and garden. There is however no Internet or WiFi here that is accessible... More

The Iris suites are semi-detached cabins that are a fantastic size with a: small kitchen (microwave not cooker) with seating, separate shower room, comfy seating area, a large jacuzzi bath - with view - next to the bed, and a private covered terrace and garden which looks out over the hills and valley. Staff were really helpful and efficient, making... More

We stayed in one of the top-of-the-line Iris Suites; for couples only. The design was lovely; bed & furniture very comfortable, & the lighting best anywhere. The landscaping in front of the cottage was quite pretty; the small backyard private & pretty. Breakfasts delivered in the morning were huge & delicious. Staff was very friendly. It was very conveniently located... More
