We arrived on a busy weekend and the Hanjin was about the only budget place left with rooms - the staff at the tourist info desk weren't too complimentary about it so we were expecting the worst! We were pleasantly surprised - it was clean with ensuite bathroom, plenty hot water and even towels provided (although please note there are... More

It is not the best one, but I have nothing to complaint about this hostel. Our room (4-bed room) was clean, no bad smell. The owner was very nice, he provided all the guests a very detailed tourist map, explained to us the best way to get to each tourist attraction. The hostel has good location as well, very near... I was travelling alone, and therefore asked for a single room, with ensuite bathroom. Hairs on the floor, in the room and the bathroom, really disgusting. The only window opened on a patio, with garbage near, so I had the choice between the garbage smell from outside or the musty smell from inside... The bed sheet had some hairs on... More

The building is not new at all, and the rooms are Spartan at best, but you can't beat the price: 20000 KRW for a single and 25000 KWR for a single with ensuite bath? Plus, the staff is extremely kind and speaks English (and even French, as I had the chance to talk to a person who spent 25 years... More

I was nervous coming to this hostel after reading the reviews but I think some reviews have been vastly exaggerated. Yes, the place is dated, but the beds and sheets were clean, bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot. All the basics are there. We thought the price was value for money as most love motels will set you... More

To sum up; one night was more than enough! it's disgusting dirty, and seems like it has never been cleaned - black hairs all over the linnnen, and mold on the walls. Friendly helpful staff tho - but I would definitely reccomend a motel near by instead.. this is too expensive for what you get.

The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it opened. While I appreciate the owners being gracious hosts and chatting with the guests and making travel suggestions, I would have preferred more effort in giving the place a good scrub down. There was mold in the bathroom. The bedding looked suspect. The towels were strangely stiff. At least there... More

The hostel looks already strange from the outside (on the wall (!) the owner quotes guests that obviously liked his hostel) but once you're inside it's horrible. The rooms look very unclean and very old (before 1950??). The wall paper was "taped" several times and looks ugly), at one wall in our room there was fungus growing. The bed was... More

We only stayed one night at this hostel, and that was enough. At 40,000 won a night for a double room, it was overpriced. The whole place generally felt as if it had seen better days. The bath was too small to use, the bathroom was outdated, the WiFi signal was too weak to even connect to in the room,... More

I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days and must say I truly enjoyed myself. The staff at Hanjin are great and definitely made my husband and I feel welcome from the beginning. The owner, Mr. Kwon speaks fluent english and will help you with anything and everything! Don't be afraid to ask! He is the kindest and most... More
