Stayed at Sleeping Boot for 3 nights and made many friends because the way the common area is designed makes it easy to meet people. Qi Feng is extremely warm, friendly, helpful and extremely thoughtful. I can't think of a better place to stay.

I stayed with some friends in Hualien for 3 nights and we were very happy with this hostel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Atmosphere of the main living area is nice and encourages chatting with other guests. Only about a 10 min walk from the train station, markets and some good restaurants and bars.
