I'll get the cons out of the way first! First thing is the most of the staff have terrible English, there is maybe 1 in 6 that can actually understand what you are saying without having to repeat yourself numerous times. Second thing is the food is a little bit on the pricey side of things compared to in patong.... More

Merlin resort is certainly a great place to stop and stay in Phuket away from the hustle and bustle... Don't be put off by the renovating going on currently still has its advantages the changes in the last few years have not distracted from the location of this resort... Still one of the best

bit worried as to how isolated this hotel was but was so wrong....the staff were incredible,the food first class,the facilities second to none and could not fault the cleanliness.i would thoroughly recommend the hut on the left hand side of the beach for all your massage needs....will go back one day!!

We stayed here in january with another family, Ill get the worst out of the way first. The only fault I can point out with the hotel is the staffs very poor English language. Recently returned fom Thailand and would highly recommend the Merlin Beach. A bit out of the way but service was excellent,a choice of 3 big and inviting pools and rooms met our every expectation.Only negative the pool bar cocktails were full of ice and not good value.

We booked here for 14 nights, in the brochures it looked amazing, in reality it was even better. 3 huge free form swimming pools including a kids pool with water slide.
