spent only one night on my way to Istanbul after visiting Troy. Nice hotel overall with the location service excellent staff. it's next to the bus station and ferry. The waterfront walk is good. breakfast is above my expectation

Clean hotel with a very good breakfast spread. Close to the seaside promenade, and the Trojan horse is an easy walk. There's a great coffee shop opposite, and the eatery just up the road on the same side as the hotel (Gulen Pide) is simply terrific. Hotel Helen is simple, but modern and well presented. It's a good location central to the town and the waterfront area which has a nice range of bars and restaurants. Food and service was good. Wifi in the room worked well and was free. A good spot to access the Gallipoli Peninsula and surrounds.

The location is excellent if you want to catch the ferry over to Gallipoli. We stayed here overnight before catching the ferry the next morning. The room was basic, but comfortable and we had a good nights sleep here. The breakfast was sufficient.

The Hotel Helen was recommended to us by friends who had stayed their several years before. I stepped off the bus and spent an hour or so racing round about 8 hotels and pensions close to the port, checking rooms, prices etc. Hotel Helen was an easy winner, paid 120TL a night for a double, got comfort, quiet, cleanliness and good service. Made it quite a difficult decision to move on the next day!
