Just metres from the river, the posada is set around a courtyard with an ornamental pond and pot plants everywhere. The rooms are on two floors surrounding the courtyard. It's an easy 5 minute walk from the old part of the city and close to banks and restaurants. However, the rooms are old and dated and need an update. Sweet little hotel, great location, wonderful rooftop area to relax and watch the sunset. Bed was not the most comfortable, and bathroom was tiny.

The Posada is well located just off Colonia's main street. There's a great breakfast and wi-fi room at the front with lots of natural light and open windows that make it a great place to relax. Rooms were clean but uncomfortably hot on nights that I stayed there. Price was a little expensive but apart from that no major complaints.
