Had a very pleasant stay at El Capullo. We arrived somewhat early and were greeted by Kelly who checked us in, showed us around and let us leave our bags until our room was available. My wife and I visited El Capullo in March and found it to be a delight. Helpful staff - yes they speak English - and charming, romantic location. BEWARE if you are booking this hotel. As the photographs and many reviews confirm, El Capullo is a beautiful building set in the perfect location to explore Colonia. “Wonderful Getaway”

My wife and I visited El Capullo in January and found it to be not only romantic but a beautifully renovated and charming hotel. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable.The staff was attentive and the owners Tom and Kelli are terrfic hosts, well traveled and quite interesting. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique getaway!

Perfect location to explore colonia. Very good value with great pool and lounge area and breakfast. Free computer use and wifi. Friendly staff with local knowledge. Room are really nice with fan and air con.

We were only one night in Colonia. But we had the kimpression that we have been thee msny times befor. A really great hotel with a nice pool in a peacefil garden, good location and lovely people. Would go there again...

El Capullo is very cozy, tasteful, excelent service, I felt at home, excente location. Tom, Kelly and his team are great Beautiful garden, where he grew up an area of coexistence and rest very charming. The best!

My parents and I spent the weekend in Colonia while celebrating my father's 80th birthday. The property is well maintained and run, the staff very courteous.
