We stayed at Colonia Suite in January and this was definitely the best part of our trip to Uruguay. Within just a short stroll from the old part of Colonia this B&B is run by Fred who speaks very good English & French and was the ideal host. Luckily we booked the Garden Balcony Suite which is spacious and has... More

Great BnB just off of the main street in Colonia. We rented a golf cart and parking was really easy out front. Would definitely stay at Colonia Suite if I ever found myself in Colonia again. Fred, el dueño, is awesome!

We stayed at Colonia Suite after a week in Buenos Aires and we fell in love with both the gorgeous little town of Colonia and the comfortable and charming Colonia Suite. The rooms are all large and beautiful. The little courtyard garden is a picturesque place for breakfast. The included breakfast was really, really good. Yaqui (Jackie) took such good... More

We stayed in Colonia on our way to BA. We stayed at Colnia Suit. This charming place will make you feel at home. Not only is a warm charming place, Yaqui will look after you like you are part of the family. You'll love it soo much that you wont want to leave. Deffinitely worth staying there for a few... More

My husband and I stayed here two nights in January and loved it. Our room was huge and comfortable. The living area had a counter with stools, refrigerator and other amenities helpful for a long stay, as well as a couch and two chairs. That area was separated from the sleeping area that had nice long built in shelves, a... More

We spent there three nights, and our experience was great! The place is much different from other typical Colonia places to stay. It is not classic, but more like artistic. Very cosy. You feel like it could be your place all the time. The decoration, the livings, etc. It's just a b&b, so not many additional services. The breakfast is... More

The accommodation has real character with wooden floors and tasteful decoration. It's ideally located only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal and a short walk to the historic area of Colonia. Our bedroom was spacious with a kitchen area. Breakfast in the back garden was really enjoyable. The owner (Fred) and Jacky could not have done any more... More

I have stayed there for a weekend with a couple of friends. We took the Frida Kahlo room. The room was clean, confortable and nice decorated, like the rest of the house. The only issue was that upstairs there's another room with wooden floor and the first night a couple with a little kid was staying there. The kid kept... More

The ferry ride from. BA took us to the lovely quite village of Colonia. The Colonia Suites were just perfect. No cookie cutter rooms just well thought out large rooms with attention to detail and character. Great bed, flat screen and all that but more importantly individual styling very well done. Jackie greeted us and Fred joined in at breakfast... More

We were charmed by the place. It has very warm atmosphere, beautiful views, very comfortable, spacy and airy rooms. Breakfast in the garden adds to the beauty of the place and is great by itself: fresh orange juice, breads, cheeses, jam and butter - everything reminds you of leisure and relaxing country life style making your vacation more significant.
