The bungalows are nice and clean and the outdoors are beautiful for such a small area. Everywhere you look are trees and flowers. The breakfast was one of the best (free) ones I've had. There were several options to choose from and they were generous with proportions. The bicycles all seemed new so they were nice. From the very beginning... More

Really nice place to stay. Great large rooms and nice baths. Helpful staff. Borrow a bicycle and explore. Nice little swimming pool. Breakfast was ok. Not the best but the people were very sweet and I slept really well there

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and wished we could have stayed for more. We had two twin rooms upstairs and they were fantastic, spacious and comfortable. Even have a stone bath for those who prefer one. Breakfast was very good with some quaint touches that endear you even more to the people, who own it and work there.... More

My three sons (6, 14,15 yrs) and I stayed here for three nights and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly with good english and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are fine but the rooms are the highlight - so spacious which is great with kids and after the crampedness of Hanoi. Its a bit away... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the Orchid room. On our first night the staff organised a dinner party for all the guests (with free dinner and wine) out in the garden which was a lovely experience. We were quite surprised and impressed by the effort they went to. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast... More

Stayed 2 nights in the small room next to reception. Room was simple but comfortable and essentially had good aircon.Bathroom was a bit dated but I've seen worse. The hotel also has a small pool and free bicycles to use which is really nice to use to go to beach or town centre. Reception girl was friendly (drink on arrival,... More

Half way between the old town and the beach, my parents and husband rested for three nights at Botanic Garden Homestay. We stayed in the Super Deluxe Bungalow and it was beautiful. The bungalow is clean, although smaller than they look in the pictures. The pool was small but adequate. It only had two sun loungers for the entire homestay... More

We appreciated staying in a quiet residential area, away from the many tourists, restaurants and shops and, most importantly, away from the main road where the motorbike horns sound continuously. There are however some small shops and several restaurants nearby so if you don't wish to go into town to eat, you don't have to. We liked our bungalow (Pansy)... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the Botanic Garden Homestay. Wouldn't recommend staying there if you have asthma or if you just prefer to sleep in a resonably clean air. The first night we were given a small room ext to the reception/breakfast area, which had a severe mouldy smell stemming from the bathroom, which had no ventilation or windows.... More
