This was the last stop of our African trip. We stayed in Botswana at Baines, Chiefs, Chobe Chilwero. The room was very nice, it was a treehouse with views of the Zambezi. The food was not as good as the other camps, our first lunch was a disappointment, wet salad, raw hamburger, but things improved after that. Unlike Botswana, breakfast... More

we recently stayed at Sussi and Chumas as an excursion from the QM2 which had docked at Durbin on her 2013 World Cruise. By far the outstanding feature has to be the staff here who appeared genuinely thrilled at sharing Africa with us. Unfortunately we missed seeing the two white rhino in the reserve but the sightings of the zebra... More

Unfortunately we had only two nights at Sussi & Chuma, and after 4 wonderful nights at the Sanctuary Chichele Lodge, which we were sad to be leaving, Sussi & Chuma did not disappoint us however. The novelty of staying in the luxurious riverside treehouses with a deck overlooking the mighty Zambezi, lying in bed listening to the sound of the... More

Even after 2 weeks back home I hear the roars and barks of the hippos passing my chalet at night, and then I dream of my days in this beautiful lodge on the banks of the Zambezi. We were a small group of 8 and Sussi & Chuma was our last stop on our way from Windhoek to Livingstone, after... More

I have not enough words to describe the thrilling, wonderful, extraordinary experience at Sussi and Chuma. True Zambian hospitality at its best. The rooms are so luxurious yet in the bush and meters from the river, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Our party of 8 was delayed and we arrived at the resort at midnight, to find our... More

This was our first experience on a game reserve and was the most modest property in which we stayed. That is not to say it was disappointing. To the contrary, it was a delight in every way. We quickly learned that the people of Zambia are very hospitable and loved helping us enjoy their beautiful country. Our guide was Boswell... More

We have just got back from traveling around Zambia, our first leg of our journey was at Sussi and Chuma, it was the most wonderful experience, staying there. The Management were so friendly, and as for the general staff, they could not do enough for you. Our guide was Chris, there was nothing that man did not know about the... More

I have traveled a great deal but never have I come across a place as good as Sussi & Chuma. I feel this way not necessarily because of the location and the accommodation itself, which is great in and of it's own right, but because of the service provided from the guides on down to the general staff are beyond... We spent three fantastic days here and didn't want to leave. So why isn't it a 5 Star? I'll get that out of the way first so I can focus on the many positives. We had a mouse or rat visit our room and eat some fruit and cookies while we were gone. What it ate wasn't a major issue... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write this review on Tripadvisor.
