We stayed at better hotels during our Japan trip, and yet rated them lower than the ANA Crowne Plaza. For the price (booked early), the hotel exceeded our expectations with its location near the train station, free wifi, and early check-in. They are without any exercise facility, but walking the Kanazawa gardens and castle left us relatively guilt-free.

Stayed for 2 nights. Service was great and all the staff (just like most of Japan) are incredibly accommodating. We had Teppanyaki dinner on 19 th floor and it was beautiful. Booked via the internet. Prepaid, so reasonable price. Very nice room, ample space, spotless. Perfect location, short walk from train station. Take the loop bus for off and on for a day only 300 yen!. Kanazawa is a fabulous historic yet modern city. Their buffet beakfast is more than enough, delicious, a little pricey.
