We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Northstar last week. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and the meals really delicious - real home from home cooking. We had booked a mountain bike tour which was well organised and great fun. We most definately be booking again.

Northstar is fabulous! I have stayed there several times now and have enjoyed the great staff, who are so helpful...the wonderful food and above all the "ambience," the peaceful yet adventurous atmosphere there. So close to everything...the stores, the baths, the slopes and mountain bike trails. Great accommodations! Great staff!

Ever since i've been to NorthStar in 2008, i've been back every single year. Their service is excellent and the place kept very clean! This is my first time going outdoor with snow. The guidance has well explain of geographical information around Norikura Mountain. Surprisingly during the hike have chance seeing Raicho,a rare species in Japanese wildlife. We've used Northstar for our winter retreat with our High School Students (80+ kids in one go) and have found them to be excellent; fun, safe, learning. I certainly can recommend them highly.
