I recently stayed 5 nights with my wife. I don't speak Japanese well, but was able to communicate with the staff just fine. The rooms are small, but very clean, modern, comfortable, smell good. Many Japanese hotels smell like smoke, even in non-smoking rooms. The entire staff at Premiere Inn was courteous and on par with the best in Japanese...
