We've stayed here twice, once on our way to Pulau Tioman, once on our way back. The hotel does the job. Nothing special or fancy but clean, big rooms close to bus terminal and ferry. Everything you want for a cheap night before/after going to Pulau Tioman.

It's basic, but it feels luxurious for budget travellers. Cheap and clean room but no view. Good wifi and beers for sale at the reception. TV and number of channels could have been better. The town itself not much fun. Good and cheap food in self service places.

The last time I stayed here was in 2008. The room i had was far better. Upgraded from what I expected with tea and coffee facilities, water, a hot shower, AC and a TV and a light switch near the bed. I didn't use it for anything other than to drop my body to sleep, yet it was pretty neat, clean and reasonably priced, and surely served the purpose. The rooms are clean and bug free, which is saying a lot in the port town of Mersing. The prices are reasonable and the street traffic is not so loud at night. Nice perk: Beers sold downstairs so you can sit at a table overlooking the street while on your laptop with free wifi and look up things to do... More

This is really is no frls place. But provides what it should. Goog rooms, very clean, good beds. The outside of the hotel looks horrible (owner said that a paint job was scheduled) but hey, who cares about the outside when you are in your room/ bed...?
