We arrive late the hotel. It was beautiful to see the sky is full of star. It was like million of diamonds in the sky. The hotel is equip with soup, showercap, May be due to its location, the water pressure is low. The hot water is inconsistent too. The room is very clean. I like the kitchen and living... More

We stayed at the Mesilau Resort for the Sabah Adventure Challenge. The resort staff were excellent hosts for us for this event. I am vegetarian, and was a little worried on the first night I might not have the right food - they prepared something especially for me. The resort is in a beautiful setting, and with comfortable facilities. Very... More

Lovely place with great view of the mountain peak. Have the steamboat for dinner as compared to the buffet as its warm and nice. Have a raincoat on standby as if it rains, the entire walkway is not covered 100 %.

I have attended 3days seminar together with my wife at Mesilau Nature Resort. Journey to the resort is bit rough, bumpy and winding and it was such a long journey from Kota Kinabalu. This was our second visit to the resort in the 5 years period. Surrounded by the forest trees and you can feel the fresh air everywhere. Very... More

Mesilau Resort is operated by the Sutera Harbour resort and have a restaurant that serve both local and western food. Do note that food is not great for it's value for money! But the view of Mt. Kinabalu is just stunning and magnific from here at 2000 meter. It's worth visiting Mesilau even if you are not climbing the mountain.... More

We booked the Mesilau Nature Resort for the stay before climb to Laban Rata. The dorm rooms / twin rooms were booked and overall it is pretty good. The dorm room as expected is not hotel-type accommodation. But it has sufficient requirements for sleep, shower and toilet. There is a living area and kitchen available. The twin room is slightly... An awesome resort by the foothills of Mt.Kinabalu, Sabah. The weather was so cool and chill, the dinner came in a form of steamboat which was just the right tonic for the night. Good nite sleep before the tough mt.kinabalu climb.

Our expectations were pretty low... we were blow away by this place... much higher quality than I was expecting for a group G Adventures trip. We stayed in the Crocker lodges (I think) - three bed lodges. Comfy beds, beautiful front deck and even slippers and toiletries! All with the mountain looming large (we were climbing it the next day).... More

We booked this place expecting less. Not that it mattered as the main reason to go there was to hike up Mt KK via the Mesilau route the following day. I must say that I was thoroughly surprised. Nice and clean with everything I needed. A hot water bath, slippers, moisturizer and a kitchen for me to cook supper and... More
