We stayed at La Maison for 11 nights in December. We were looking for more of a B&B type accommodation rather than a large resort. It was just perfect, we could come and go as we pleased. We stayed in a Villa where we had a small fridge, microwave, plates, glasses, etc and it was quite spacious. There is no... More

This place was just heavenly! We spent 9 wonderful days here and would have loved to have stayed longer! We stayed in a cottage which was perfectly adequate for us. Lovely comfortable bedroom with kitchenette area, large bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Although there was no air conditioning, we didn’t feel it was needed when we were... More

We started our honeymoon at La Maison d'Ete before spending the second half of it at the Sands resort. We would have loved to spend longer at La Maison d'Ete but sadly it was fully booked and we missed it very much for the rest of our honeymoon! Next time we will miss out the Sands. It is very calm,... More

We stayed for 4 nights. You need a car to get around because there is no village near by. Because the villa rooms were fully booked we stayed in a bungalow room which we found very small and we missed an AC. The beach is quite small but the 2 great pools are compensating this. The restaurant serves breakfast (very... More

I have stayed in a big resort and another GuestHouse on the island but my stay at Maison D'Eté was definitely the best. Great relaxing atmosphere, they let you use their bikes if you wish to take a tour, just genuinely nice people and it's practically on a deserted beautiful beach..Great memories! More

Fabulous 3 days at La Maison D'ete. Very comfortable room with kettle, fridge and spacious bathroom. Able to sleep with doors open if you wish to hear the sea, which we could see from our bedroom. Magical setting with two pools overlooking the beach/sea. Stunning location - much preferred to hotels around the island. Lovely friendly, helpful people. Free internet... More

For a first impression of Mauritius, it was the best way to be introduced to the culture, beaches and wonderful, kind and friendly people. My Mom and I stayed at La Maison D'ete for 6 days and each day was better than the last. The view of the sunrise and sunset was unbelievable and the idea of literally saying by... More

What do you say of a hotel which is way too far off from everywhere. Where the only way to reach the market is to take a bus or a cab. Where the beach is too small and the sea is full of corals and sea-weeds and sea urchins and you did rather walk in it than swim. And when... More

I am an American ex-pat living in Mauritius. I have seen my share of hotels, guest houses, rental properties etc. This is by far the best. 5 star quality at a good price. They really understand hospitality here. My husband and I felt at home and were incredibly comfortable during our stay. Beautiful and relaxing. I am recommending this place... More
