my wife and I stayed two nights. The hotel arranged for pickup at the train station for 18 dollars. The junior suite was huge with a good view of the lake. The bill for both nights was only about 170 dollars. The food was not great, butthe hotel was a good choice for what we were looking for.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel as part of our small group trip. Everything was fine overall, and I plan to stay at this hotel again in the future. Some of the surprises: The 3 of us were picked up at the Puno bus station. We were billed $29 to go the 1/2 hour or less ride to the... More

I was on my own within a group, on a spiritual adventure. The hotel was excellent, from location to comfort, food and service, staff, guides, activities. Very well planned itinerary. Felt at ease and at peace there. Great location overlooking the lake, very quiet and serene. Little details in gardens and textiles on display added to the ambience. JoBean

This hotel is owned by a local shaman and that´s quite obvious, but not in a disturbing way. It´s the hard-core pre-conquistador non-catholic branch as I understand it, which suits me fine. The reception upon arrival was impeccable and friendly. We had a suite with very nice view over the lake. The place is not a luxurious one but nice... More

I was part of a large group on a spiritual journey that stayed here for several days. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and there was an opportunity to mix with and learn from the local Shamans. This was priceless. The rooms were large and beds comfortable. Everywhere I looked there was beauty and a quiet tranquility. The gardens,... More

Previously we have stayed in Puno but, this time, we were so in love with the beauty of this hotel and the views of the lake that we never wanted to leave the site, except for our wonderful excursions, of course! The small town location was so peaceful yet we only had to walk a short distance for necessities....a visit... More

Excellent large rooms with stunning views of the lake, 5 minute walk to a quaint village with fertility temple, churches and little shops and only 15 minute taxi ride to city of Puno if you want to go over to the amazing floating reed islands etc. The service and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the buffet food for breakfast...
