This hotel ticks all the right boxes; top location on the town's pleasant central plaza, clean comfortable rooms, contemporary style, a central courtyard with swimming pool, good food and pleasant service. Probably the top choice in Trujillo.

Wonderful location on the main square. Had a wonderful suite that was comfortable and well appointed. Service was effecient and helpful and the restaurant breakfast was better than many other comparable small town hotels in south america.

This was a great hotel. It had a beautiful lobby, very clean rooms (with a flat screen TV, chocolates, and a minibar), great location (right on the Plaza de Armas), and an excellent restaurant (for both breakfast and dinner). Backpacking since already 3 montes through South America, we decided to have a nice stop in Trujillo. Room giving on the pool was perfect with a great bed. Part of Libertador chain. Nice hotel right on the main square (which is the highlight of the town) in an historic building. Swimming pool and courtyard and a sauna. Room very small; bathroom OK; bed excellent. Air con OK. Quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of lovely (ripe) fruit; fresh eggs etc. Restaurant OK for other meals. Nice, helpful staff.

This place is excellent! The location, the service, the rooms - everything! The breakfast included in the room was quite substantial and had many offerings. If noise is an issue, ask for a room away from the Plaza de Armas. Our room was on the top floor facing Orbegoso and was still a bit noisy. We will return.

Hotel is located in beautiful main plaza. Rooms, especially bed, comfortable but need new carpeting. Air conditioning nearly non-existant. Excellent buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Poor wifi.Have gym & sauna 3rd floor that is little publicized. Badly furnished bar matched by poor service. Still, hotel`s location makes it the best choice in Trujillo.
