I wish I would have stayed here initially. The hotel doesn't have any negative elements that I can think of but if I can think of one by the end of this review Ill be surprised. The room was approximately $40 and the room was huge--enough room to put a couch and coffee table. It was very clean and I... More

I stayed in this hotel from 21st to 27 of april this year. The price is good. I booked a deluxe room, but it turned out that the deluxe room faced a very noicy street , and only the standard rooms are quiet. So we agread that I was downgraded and as a treet we got breakfast for free the... More

I stayed 5 nights, with friends, in this fantastic hotel last February! I love 1930's - 1940's vintage and the hotel is decorated with details from the Pan Am Clipper airways. I expected to bump into Humphrey Bogart every time I walked through to the hotel reception! Fabulous! The rooms are big and very clean and eco friendly, warm water... More

Recently stayed at this wonderful small hotel. The manager Mr Juan Ramos and his staff were fabulous. The rooms which were en suite were clean, roomy and safe. The hotel is themed around Pan Am airways and all the rooms including the single rooms are very well presented. My friends and i felt totally safe in this colourful area. Mr Ramos... More

The Clipper offers a clean respectable place with excellent service. There is nothing the owner Juan Ramos won't do for any of his customers 24 hours a day. He even got me an important business meeting that I could have never gotten on my own. Prices are comparable or better than similar hotels. After staying in three different places I... More

This place is small but runs like a well oiled large franchise. Themed with a 70s pan am airline feel. The service feels very attentive always with smiles and greeting. We felt very well taken care of. There was a small bit of work being carried out and the owner apologised for any inconvenience and bought me a coke! Breakfast... More

Small personal boutique hotel with great (and clean!) rooms at fantastic prices. The staff couldn't be more hospitable. The single rooms are brill, themed from the old Pan Am Clipper. Breakfast is tasty. Walking distance to loads of eateries and a colourful neighbourhood. The hotel has a map of the area with suggestions of some good local places. Heckle &... More

I've made The Clipper Hotel my home base for the past two weeks while travelling here for business. Safe, spotless, and the most attentive and solicitous staff you could ever hope to meet -- I doubt you'd get better service even at a 5-star hotel. They were very tolerant of my bringing my local colleagues in and out for meetings... More

I stayed here for 2 nights back in August 2012. I was only supposed to stay here for a night but the concert I was to watch got postponed because of the monsoon so I had to book for another night. Thank goodness they had one room left. My original room was worth P1700 and the room I transferred to... More

We travelled as a couple sometime in September 2011 and stayed here for 3 nights to catch a flight back to Europe. We were definitely surprised at what we've got. We got the standard double room on the ground floor and it was beyond what we expected. We paid around PhP 1300/ night. We wouldnt have gotten the same service in... More
