Moscow is not a pedestrian friendly city, so it matters where you stay. Savoy is very close to two metro stations and 5-min walking distance to all of the touristic attractions. The staff is very friendly, and the high-ceiling rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is also nice. Price is a little on the higher end, but this is Moscow..

The Savoy clearly shows that it is in a historical building. Nevertheless, the rooms are spacious, ceilings are high and the location is right at the center. While there are other 5 star hotels located a bit more closer to the Kremlin, the 5 min extra walk is worth the experience.
