We spent five nights at Angleterre i December, and celebrated our son's wedding here. Everything was super, the best location in town, fantastic view of st. Isaacs cathedral from our room and very friendly and helpful staff. Unusually good and spacious bed! The room was not luxury size, but all in all very good value for money. More

The hotel is reported to have designer type décor but we found in distinctly odd. I recently spent 4 nights at the Angleterre and overall it was a pleasant and nice stay. We had a twin room which was spacious and comfortable. A terrible hotel - rooms are dirty and dusty. Very dim lights - cannot read unless you go near the window for natural light. Had to call for towels. The not friendly staff in the lobby does not wear name tags - tells you something. More
