This grand old hotel has been here since 1976. You can see that in the furniture, the radio/clock specially is a classic late 60s early 70s art-deco relic. They have maintained it fairly well given that is essentially a not for profit property. There is nothing around this location it is very close to airport and quite a distance from... More

Lovely hotel, the young gentleman at the Reception was very helpful and very polite. The staff and service was great. Room needs some up dating, however, very clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay. As usual, great InterContinental standard. Can't fault anything.

I've stayed here on a number of occasions and it’s a reasonable hotel to stay in. The staff vary in their helpfulness but the concierge I've always found to be very good. Be warned though if the Royal family are in town you may find yourself being asked to move out to make room for VIP guests.

this hotel is fine compared to others, but the best one in Taif. but in general it is clean, quite, and a way from the city, which is a plus in my case. however, it is outdated furniture needs upgrade

Stayed for two nights on summer, the hotel is located in Hawiyya. This area will be still hot during summer although not really extreme. The weather in Al Hada area and downtown should be more pleasant rather than Hawiyya and airport areas -between July to September. We took a road trip crossing al Hada and we could see families setting... More

When I arrived in reception I was quoted (presumably) the rack rate but it wasn't until I turned my back and walked away that I was offered a discount of 40%. To me this feels like the staff were fully prepared to totally rip me off until such time as I requested otherwise. First impressions are that the huge lobby... More

so it looks like a hotel that stepped out of the 70's bc it seems it hasnt been refurnished since then. there is a pool but women aren't allowed to swim at all, on any day. really tacky wedding set-ups all around the lobby for pics r ppl who get married there. a little away from the actual city of... I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. It is big, stylish, geometric patterns everywhere and solid. A typical Hariri Hotel. It is upper class 60's hotel. Large rooms, solid furniture, Big fountains (when they turn them on) and huge foyer. It is let down by the lack of guests. So it has the vacant feel.... More
