Still our favorite hotel in Asia. Arrived in after a 28 hour odyssey from Europe and the beds were FABULOUS!!! The breakfast buffet made up for the bland food of the previous 2 weeks and was so good, when we woke up late afternoon, we then had the seafood buffet as well.

Have to say that my fourth visit to the Guangzhou Shifu in May 2013 for Canton Fair was just as good as my last. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and sleeping very comfy. The deluxe room is spacious with a working table, lounge chairs and room is adequately lighted. Flat screen tv with multiple channels and languages. Bed is firm with 2 choices of pillows, medium and soft. Coffee making and fridge with drinks and snacks available. The hotel is in all very basic in everything from cleanliness of the room, room standard and utensiels. batrooms were slightly worn down.
