I stayed at the Lost Garden Guest House in Kunming May 11-14, 2013. They won the Kunming 2012 Best Hostel Award. I can attest to this award. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The service was excellent, pizzas and lasagne were delicious and location was great (very close to the lake). Stayed here for one night as they were fully booked after that. Had room 201, a double room with bath. Sheets and towels were clean (very important to me) and the bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap. The hairdryer was much appreciated. We stayed here twice and we liked it both times. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. The rooms were very nice, clean and the beds were comfy. We ate once in the hostel, the pizzas are a little bit expensive but delicious!
