I have stayed in this hostel twice it is always a reliable choice, staff are great, always a great group of travellers staying there, nightclub downstairs is loud but some how from the rooms you cant hear a thing, on asia standards the hostel is very clean, worth paying a bit more money than some of the other hostels in... This hostel was OK, a standard simple basic hostel, it was clean and free service of drink and breakfast. A row of hawker style restaurants and cafes, night market are in walking distances. The location is very good, in the middle of Chinatown, only 10 min to LRT Station Pasar Seni. From Pasar Seni Station you can go to KL... More

This place is a god sent after trekking about China Town looking for an affordable, clean, safe place to stay. The entrance door doesn't look much but as soon as you are up stairs, it just feels welcoming. There is only a few private rooms and a couple of bunk bed, mixed dorms, but it is so clean and homely!... More

I have stayed here loads of times and have found it excellent every time. I suppose not having a window in some rooms might be awful for some people...but it is SE Asia...it's very common. I love how structured it is, no nonsense. If you behave respectfully and have manners then you will never have any problems here. Stay here.... More

There is pretty much nowhere in KL that could be called central; the city sprawls like mad, but this is a pretty decent spot to base yourself, putting you within cooee of the Pasir Ris station and pretty much on top of Petaling Street and the incredible night market with its typically-wonderful hawker stalls. The hostel itself is very comfortable.... More

We had a good experience staying at the Reggae Guest House 1. We arrived very late (around midnight) and were buzzed in (security on the door) and checked in quickly. The room was clean and quiet even though we were right by the front desk. The next day we checked out and didn't have to be out the train terminal... More

We arrived at the Reggae Guest house in the early hours of the morning, we confirmed our internet booking and were promptly showed to our twin room with air conditioning and fan. Woke with tea and toast and also a very friendly and helpful chap at the desk, with very good English and inpartial advice as to what attractions to... More

I have stayed here four times now and it's great. Nice staff clean rooms and bathroom. I love the location in china town. Easy to walk to pasar seni and catch the train shopping where ever you want to go. I would really recommend staying here!

I stayed there for 5 nights in a mixed dorm. The hostel itself is a bit small and also the room was not very spacious and no window in the room, but everything was extremely clean. They provide free internet and breakfast (toast, instant coffee, tea) and the staff was so helpful and nice. The location is great in China... More

The accommodation backs right onto the markets in China Town. It's a great location, lots of great places to eat. Staff are super friendly and VERY helpful. We booked a twin share dorm which was quite a small room with a bunk and desk but served our purposes perfectly as we weren't planning to hand around our room. There's free... More
