Check-in went smoothly, demand for klcc view not fulfilled, the service at the club lounge is a good, simple but very tasty food, comfortable daily use for club guests, staff on the evening of 19/02/12 very good and friendly. Good grooming room, but service to Safebox frustrating, no dvd remote battery in clean rooms. Value for money with very few... More

Had the opportunity to stay here while I was in KL recently and the hotel is a little worse for wear. One lift was not working and had been out of order for a week. Lift run a little slower than normal. TV channels were all not as per directory and some channels were blurry. Took option of Room only... More

When I wanted to take a family getaway, I chose Citrus KL for its price. It was offering me a premium suite for the price of an economy room in places like Hotel Nikko or Le Meridian KL. The suite was great with huge bathroom with a tub and a shower area (seperate). Spacious and convenient. The suite had a... More

While reading many bad reviews of this hotel, I do think if the guest is willing to stretch the budget for a few more dollars, you will get a clean, and comfortable room. The hotel is not locating at any dogdy areas as claim as there are such areas from Europe to China as well. The back streets are all... More

Not usually one to write reviews and things, but felt I wanted to come on and defend this hotel after the number of bad reviews I'd read! Stayed here for two nights at the start of February and had a terrific stay- staff were very friendly and helpful, smiles all round with no problems at check-in or check-out! Our room... More

I stayed in the Citrus Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is located at a quiet place outside downtown KL. The staf is friendly and helpfull. The rooms are good. Breakfast is ok, you have plenty to choose from. For diner it is best to go outside and look for a foodcourt. It will tast much better and is much... More

Spent 2 nights here with my son. Chose it because it was a budget hotel as we had booked 4* elsewhere and wanted to save a few dollars. The room was very small and basic, bit disappointing really, but we had a good view of the Petronas Towers. Breakfast was basic, but the 'power lunch' @ about $3 Au was... More

Stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend. Room was OK - clean and quiet but I didn't have hot water for 2 out of the 3 days. Location is a little bit out of the way but there is a LRT and monorail station about 5 minutes walk away. Also lots of taxis. Pool area was OK when I... More

The trend in KL hotels has been for hotel rooms to cost a lot (as tourists flock to this shopping haven) without it being value for money. Having visited KL for the last 20 years, I decided to stay in the locality of the Citrus as I stayed nearby on my first visit 20 years ago. The hotel is near... More
