Been to Paradise Island in March 2007, but just discovered tripadvisor.com - so that's why this review is a bit old. In all this island lives up to the name Paradise Island - this really is paradise. Good beaches for swimming and fun, GREAT snorkling. Very service minded staff, and good quality and selection of food in the main restaurant.... more

It was really a heavenly experience as we were spending our honeymoon there. What a life those 5days spent there. It was a complete pampered down experience with great food, great courteous staff and well appointed rooms overlooking the sea. It is really worth every penny been spent upon and I personally recommend Male and Paradise Resort for any honeymoon... more

Maybe I didn't get the best deal, but for an average of $500 per night for half-board (breakfast and dinner) it was a disappointing experience. This was our honeymoon trip, had to be special and the place made it more than special. everything about the resort is great, food, rooms, bar, pool, jacuzzi, proximity to beach, water sports, hospitality, service...everything was just as perfect as we could wish...it was a wonderful experience staying at Paradise Island...would love to go there again for sure. more
