We go to Ashland every year for the Shakespeare festival and decided to try a hotel more in the heart of Ashland. Pros: - Perfect location. One block from the theaters and restaurants. Cons: - Rooms, tiny and run down. Clearly an aging property. - Room noise, needs retrofitting for sound proofing. Heard neighbors chattering. - Restaurant. Poor quality-price ratio.

Stayed for three days in this lovely historical hotel for a wedding. Yes, the rooms are small, a bit tired but it's all about the location. Ashland is an awesome town and this hotel is smack dab in the middle which means you can walk everywhere. Their breakfast is light, yummy and their cinnamon rolls are made by scratch each... More

Stayed here for a conference and loved it. Nice staff and great ambiance . Rooms are smaller but for how I used the room it was just fine. Very quiet and peaceful. Great walking trails near hotel. Loved the town of Ashland. Would come back here

We will not stay at this hotel again. We had a nice but unremarkable stay until the final day, when we went out for breakfast and returned to find the maid cleaning our room, even though it was mid-morning and we hadn't checked out yet. We couldn't use the restroom again, make a final survey of the room to see... More

We just spent two days at the Ashland Springs Hotel as the last stop on a week long get away. The hotel has been a landmark since the 1920s and is on the National Historic Register. Our room had a king bed and a view of the hills across the valley. The bathroom was spacious and clean, however it suffers... More

Nice rooms but very small. The top sheet had a rip in it and several small holes. Headboard and night stands had not been dusted in some time. I reported this to the front desk. The sheets were changed but the room was not dusted. Even though we are staying two nights, the towels were exchanged contrary to what is... More

We recently stayed at the Ashland Springs Hotel for three nights recently. The hotel is in a historic building and has an almost southern feel...huge entry/front desk area with slow moving fans on the ceiling. There is a fireplace, plenty of seating and a bird theme. The hotel could use a little TLC, but our room was nice with a... More

Completely refurbished, all that keeps this hotel from being truly excellent is that the rooms are somewhat smaller than more modern buildings. The restoration is perfect, the staff functions well, and the prices are moderate. Most important, the hotel is in the heart of Ashland and is only a short walk from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theatres (and by short... More

In years gone by, we've stayed at several small hotels and inns in the Ashland area, but now, our "home" in Ashland is The Ashland Springs Hotel. We come once a year to see a play or two. This year, we brought our 9-year-old grand-daughter AND our well-behaved dog. Both loved the hotel as much as we do! Located right... More

What a beautiful, wonderful old hotel. So much charm and character. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. Stayed on the 14th floor in a corner room. The views were incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was my first time to stay in Ashland and only stayed one night. I will definitely return for a longer... More
