The Cowslip's Belle is 0.3 miles from the Shakespeare theaters. We walked to plays, a variety of restaurants, and shopping. Jon and Carmen have a lovely disposition and a lovely inn. The rooms were immaculate and decorated with interesting antiques. I appreciated the eye to conservation with recycling, etc. We stayed in the Carriage House, which allowed us to keep... More

What's not to like about this lovely B&B in Ashland. We were made so welcome despite arriving much earlier than the advertised check-in. Our room was warm and comfortable, and the fabulous bed ensured a great night's sleep. Jon and Carmen are lovely helpful hosts, without being intrusive. We really enjoyed our scrumptious breakfast and chatting with Jon and Carmen... More

Returning to Cowslip's each June, is like going home only better. Home sometimes holds old memories, some not pleasant or have strings attached. Not so with Cowslip's. I look forward to renewing my friendship with Jon & Carmen and guests that I may know from past years. The warmth and TLC that Jon and Carmen extend to all guests, is... More

Jon and Carmen are so easy to work with. Very cordial and welcoming. We really loved the proximity of their B&B to the Shakespearian Theatre, a short and pleasant walking distance for us. The Gillyvor Room we stayed in was clean, warm and comfortable. The late night coffee and hot water was always available. The breakfast was outstanding. We have... More

We have enjoyed the B & B here before, but this time opted for a longer stay at the vacation rental. What a treat! Our handsome upstairs rooms were very spacious and offered privacy. The sheltered porch offered views of the hills. The kitchen, with a small fridge and full stove, enabled us to enjoy healthy meals on our own... More

Jon and Carmen are the best hosts we have ever encountered in a B&B! They are informative and gracious and maintain a beautiful welcoming establishment. The rooms contain everything a person could need including individual coffee makers and cookies! It is set back from the street and very quiet, but an easy walk to the theaters. We plan to return... This was our second stay and our hosts of several years earlier were still there and as friendly and welcoming as ever. We stayed in the Gullivor Room in the main house and it was both private and convenient to the late night/early morning coffee and hot water. The location is ideal for walking to the Shakespeare Festival play venues... More

We found our room to very quiet, peaceful, and well appointed. The delicious morning breakfast offered many quality selections to choose from, and delicious fruit. This was our first visit to this B&B, but every guest at our breakfast table was a returning customer. The conversation was quite lively and interesting at the table. Would definetly go back.

We stayed for one night on a road trip to San Francisco. The Inn is conveniently located two blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's theaters and all the cute shops and restauranats. Our room, the Gillyvor, was in the front of the main house - cozy, comfortable and very quiet. Jon and Carmen were attentive to our needs, made a... More

We have visited Cowslip's Belle for at least 25 years. It is a home away from home for us. We park our car and never need to move it. It is the perfect location for enjoying the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It is an easy walk to the theaters, shops, Lithea Park and restaurants. Jon and Carmen are warm, welcoming and... More
