We stopped off at the Texan for a steak and then needed a room for the night. This holiday inn is right down the road, clean, and has a pool and spa. Nice place. They gave us two free drink coupons for the bar, and an awesome Route 66 breakfast is included in the $66 / night rate.

Let me begin with stating that the HOTEL is great if you have children. Arcade, pool, hot tub, pool tables, clean rooms all a plus. Easy to get to from interstate - great. Find somewhere else to eat though - the onsite restaurant was horrible! Pathetic food and horrific service.

I came to town on business and this was a great clean hotel. It was easy and quick to check in. When i got to my room it was clean and had everything i needed. Friendly service at the hotel and they were quick to help. I will stay here every time I have business in Amarillo.

Arrived late in the evening. Entered room and it smelled horrible. Neighborhood iffy was concerned to leave the car out front. Unfortunately I was too tired to go elsewhere and the previous hotels in the area were booked. Rooms old not updated, 2 doors down from gentleman's club should have figured it was not the best
