This is a terrific business hotel in a nice area of Austin. The hotel is close to many dining places. Rooms are large and extremely clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. No bed bugs here. And the place is quiet. With the comp breakfast, you can't beat it for a night. More

Have stayed here twice, most recently over Thanksgiving weekend. The facility is clean, the rooms well-furnished, and the staff generally competent. Nothing special, although the room amenities are nice for this price range. When looking for this kind of lodging, I'd generally choose Hyatt Place over competitors. This one is convenient to the Arboreturm area for shopping and dining and... More

First, if you really need to stay here, they have $119 corporate rate, call direct and ask for it. Don't be suckered into paying $169. The hotel is average low end facility, among staybridge, etc. I stayed in 4th floor and found bed bugs. Avoid floor 3-5 and north half of bldg. They don't change sheets for at least 3... More

While I have been unable to respond personally as I cannot match this name with any guest in the last several months, I will at least respond here with a sincere apology as we never wish to have any guest leave our hotel dissatisfied. In answer to the most serious comment, we have stepped up our pest control inspections and... More

Our last stay was not as pleasant as prior stays. Staff was inattentive at check-in and couldn't name any local brew pubs. (We found North by Northwest about 4 blocks away.) Room had a few burns on carpet and leaking shower, and just felt less clean than the many prior stays. The complimentary breakfast was non-existent after a waive of... More

I sincerely apologize that your last stay was less than up to the expectations set by prior stays. Thank you for your repeat business and please be assured that this is not typical for our hotel. We have had some staff movement due to promotions and it may simply be a training issue with some of our newer staff. I... More

I stayed here because it was near my office and had never stayed at a Hyatt place. This location has been recently remodeled and has all that a modern business traveler needs, strong Wi-Fi, nice, big TV and breakfast in the morning. There are many restaurants within walking distance and easy expressway access. More

Thank you so much for your business and for your kind words. We find that many first time Hyatt Place travelers are pleasantly surprised when they walk through the doors and we're so glad you decide to give us a try. I hope to see you again next time you are in Austin. More

This was my second trip to Austin and having stayed at a Hyatt Place in Memphis, we decided to try one here in Austin. The Arboretum area is very well located, so it is an excellent base. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed with everything you would expect from a Hyatt Place. We especially loved the media center that... More

My stay was for a business trip and the first time I have been to a Hyatt Place. The concept seems like a good one, but over all left a bit to be desired. The hotel is based on a self service model that has the guests order services though touch screens. This allows minimal staffing, and gives the feeling... More

Thank you for your recent business. I sincerely apologize if your stay did not meet your expectations. While I cannot change the room layout, I would like to mention that we are looking at a shower redesign and that the t.v. in your room has been fixed. I can only guess that maybe it was the only clean room of... More

Just stayed at the Hyatt Place for the ACL music festival. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and easily accessible. I used the pool during my stay. The first evening it had some leaves and needed to be cleaned, but my the next morning it was in top shape ! My room was comfy, but... More

I have recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Hyatt Place Arboretum in Austin, Texas, and I am glad to be home. The positive of the hotel were the hotel was quiet, rooms were spacious, and the television was one of the biggest plasma screens I have yet to see in any hotel room. However, the negatives outweighed... More
