We stayed in the European room. The room was comfortable and attractive. The bed was extremely comfortable. The house and setting is pleasant and inviting It is hard to believe it is so close to downtown Austin. I recommend this bed and breakfast if you are tired of staying in hotels or just want to try some place new. We... More

We stayed at the Inn at Pearl while visiting for a Saturday meeting in Austin. We are in Austin often and own a home right outside, but decided we would stay in town. The Inn at Pearl is in a terrific location. The owner is very accommodating. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and the setting is first... More

We just spent a week at the Austin's Inn at Pearl Street and loved it. We loved our room, the European style breakfast, the patio, the walkable neighborhood, and how we could come and go at all hours of the day or night and not feel like we were bothering anyone and the charm of the entire property. We will... More

I'm a frequent business traveler accustomed to the likes of impersonal cookie-cutter chains. If that's what you are looking for, this isn't it. I had the opportunity to really experience Austin for the first time and had the pleasure of staying at this historic Inn. The warmth, charm and coziness of the place, both inside and out, was a wonderful... More

Austin's Inn at Pearl Street is a perfect place to stay! While visiting the beautiful city of Austin for our first time the Inn at Pearl Street tucked us in and made it possible for us to have such an amazing stay. The service was unbelievable. We got the chance to meet and greet the owner, which by the way... More

My husband and I stayed in the very cool Safari room in the Inn, while our other family members stayed in the Oxford room. Both rooms were extremely comfortable, well kept, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed the other guests, Inn Keeper Jill's hospitality, and the evening ambiance of tealights in the garden. The location is perfect and the rooms were... More

My two friends and I came to Austin for a fun and relaxing girls weekend, after a lot of research and some negotiating, we found the perfect place: Austin's Inn at Pearl Street. We booked "The Cottage" for our stay in the city which very comfortably slept three of us (pull-out sofa and large king bed). It had a kitchen,... More

Although this B&B has loads of charm, it is not centrally located near down town as advertised. You'll need a car or a bike or a taxi. I do not recommend the establishment for business travelers. The owner was completely inflexible, indecisive, and unresponsive when there was a discrepancy with my booking, made by work. Early check-out was not allowed,... More

I was a little leery when my colleague proposed that we stay at a Bed & Breakfast rather than a conventional hotel. It is always harder to travel "off the beaten path" especially when it comes to the necessities of business travel. However, this B&B had wireless internet, guest-accessible printers, and evening snack food, which was good to the traveler... More

We chose to stay here because they had availability the weekend we needed it. We had anticipated a clean, comfortable quiet room. Our stay began by the owner telling us she could have sold the room to someone else for twice the money. Next, she told us our room adjoined a room in which another couple was staying, but that...
