My husband and I had a one night stay here in August 2011. Our room, on the ground floor, was very basic and very clean; I cannot say the decor was memorable--just simple and motel-like, The weather was pleasant when we arrived, and we enjoyed watching the sun set over the water with a glass of wine, sitting in Adirondack... Had a great weekend here with my girlfriend. The location is nice, but the price was a little steep considering what we got. At $180 per night it was a little much compared to what we got. Also, the firepalce was not real fire or even gas which was kind of dissapointing. Other than that, everything was good. More

My husband and I selected this inn due to it location to the Ferry Terminal and since we were traveling with our dog. Once we arrived we were so impressed with the outstanding customer service at the front desk, and then of course, the outstanding view! We stayed in a basic queen room which was fine, nothing fancy but it... More

We booked this room based on the recommendations, and I expected more for a $175 room. It was a 2 star motel room with low-end amenities (linens, towels, bathroom, etc). Its right on the main road, so not very isolated. The worst thing was the walls were so thin we could here every word of the conversations in the next... More

Have stayed in the past with family & dog, always enjoyable. The biggest issue with this visit was with unit # 12 door locks. Dead bolt to deck didn't work, door knob lock was worn & easy to jiggle loose. Front door chain lock broken. I ended up jamming chairs against back door, not terribly reassuring. I'm not normally a... More

This is an older cabin style motel. The owners have done a great job updating without losing the kitsch. Good bed, kitchenette, flat screen, etc, Great location overlooking the ferry dock. Staff was very accomodating. More

My husband in I stayed in a lower room where we could walk outside and sit on a deck chair and drink in the beautiful, peaceful view of trees and water. Later we enjoyed the jaccuzzi in our own private sunroom! The bedroom was lovely and the weather so fine we slept with the window open. Would love to go... More

The room was spotless and looks as if it was newly renovated. Beautiful ocean view - especially the sunset over the water which we watched from our balcony. Had a fridge, microwave, hair dryer etc - all the amenities you need. The room was large and super comfortable- loved the king bed with duvet cover. Complimentary breakfast was not great... More

Oh, Wow! What a great place to stay. At the outset, Neil and Linda made us feel extremely welcome. They are the perfect Host and Hostess/ Owners-Managers. After our getting signed in, we walked down to our room (#2). As we opened the door and began our visual survey, we were overwhelmed with the full beauty of the room. The... More

This hotel has several small cabins as well as hotel rooms. We had a cabin adjoined to another cabin. The hotel was pretty full and the cabin next to us was occupied, but we did not hear even the tv from the other cabin. The setting is great for relaxing. I especially liked getting out of the city and having... More
