Awfull location!!! Dirty, smelly dangerous. Very noisy - difficult to sleep at night. Service quite OK. Food nice. Not worth its price for sure!!! There are many other nicest places in the town. It is better to book a hostel, rooms are rather old but pretty clean.

Don;t stay here, its oevrpriced and a dump. Manaus is general is a horrible city full of drunks... I'm not joking! Get out asap! The hotel was old run down, dirty and in a horrible area. The aircon did not work properly nor did the shower. The paint was coming off the wall and the TV kept cutting out! Dont... More

“Dilapidated but charming”

Nice place to stay if you want to be down-town. Some of the furniture is about to fall apart, the airco very noisy, and its not spotlessly clean, but it has character. The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the French balcony with view of the park.

This is a fantastic low budget hotel in a great location near the port and the opera house. In Colonial style most bedrooms have a nice veranda over- looking the PRAZA MATRIZ. Comfortable throughout with good air conditioning,what made it so good is the staff were very,very friendly and helpful (although only a little little English spoken). Only negative,no bed... More
